HH the Emir Arrives to Jordan

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani arrived Tuesday to The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, to participate in the 28th Arab summit.
King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein was in reception of HH the Emir at the Queen Alia International Airport. Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein, Prime Minister of Jordan Dr Hani Al Mulki, Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Abo Al Ghait, Royal Court Chief in Jordan Fayez Al Tarawneh, Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ayman al-Safadi, Qatar's Ambassador to Jordan Bandar bin Mohammed Abdullah al Attiyah, Jordan's Ambassador to Qatar Zahi Mohammad Al Samadi, and a number of ranking civilian and military Jordanian officials. 

HH the Emir gave a statement upon arrival expressing delight at being in Amman to participate in the 28th Arab Summit. HH the Emir conveyed his greetings and those of the Qatari people to King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein of Jordan and the Jordanian people. HH the Emir wished both the King and the people of Jordan further progress and prosperity.

HH the Emir then greeted Arab leaders participating in the summit, which is taking place during a very critical time regionally and internationally. HH the Emir added that such developments call on all Arab countries to work together and show stronger solidarity. HH the Emir then expressed hope that the summit will lead to developing joint Arab work in line with the hopes of the Arab people.
