FAQ


  • Refer to the nearest security center and report the loss of passportand obtain a security report accordingly.
  • Refer to Borders & Residence Department in order to set its official seal on the security report.
  • Refer to the Embassy and provide the security report along with 2 photographs in order to obtain a travel permit.
  • Refer to Borders & Residence Department in order to set its seal on the travel permit issued by the Embassy.

Note: The travel permit is to be issued by the Embassy after addressing Nationality and Travel Documents Department, and it is valid for a period of 3 months, given that it is valid for only one travel to the State of Qatar.

Vehicles with foreign number plates are permitted to enter the Jordanian territory for a maximum period of 8 months, and the fees are determined in accordance with engine capacity, provided that there are valid license and trip ticket. Such duration may be extended for more than 8 months, if the vehicle owner is a student in a course of study or staying in the Kingdom for treatment, provided proving as such with official reports.
